Privacy Policy
Last Updated: 28/05/2025
1. Introduction
Welcome to Acelerun Technologies ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of our video and audio streaming services (the "Service"). Our platform is designed with a strong emphasis on user privacy, data minimization, and neutrality.
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms, please do not access or use the Service.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Our Service is engineered to operate with a zero-logging and pseudonymous architecture. We fundamentally do not collect, store, or process personal data that can directly identify you. This includes:
- Personal Identification Information: We only collect minimal information such as an email address together with the IP fingerprint when legally required by payment processors (e.g., Stripe) or for technical reasons; however, these records are always anonymized on our side. Therefore, we do not collect names, physical addresses, phone numbers, or other similar contact data.
- IP Addresses and User-Agent Strings: We do not log or store IP addresses or user-agent strings of users accessing the streaming content.
- Session Identifiers and Cookies: The Service does not use persistent cookies for tracking. We only use a single, essential cookie (`gdpr_consent_accepted`) to store your consent choice regarding our privacy policy. This cookie does not track any personal data.
- Behavioral Analytics: We do not implement any tools for behavioral analytics or tracking of user interactions with the content.
- Streamed Content Itself: We act as a transient conduit for content. We do not store the media content streamed by users on our infrastructure beyond technically necessary, short-lived caches for delivery optimization.
3. Information Processed for Service Operation
While we do not collect personal data, certain technical information is inherently processed to enable the functionality of the streaming service:
- Transient Caching: For performance and efficient delivery, content may be temporarily cached on our servers. This data is volatile, not associated with any user, and automatically deleted within a short technical window (typically less than 24 hours). This is a standard practice for content delivery networks.
- Aggregated, Anonymized Data: We may collect highly aggregated and fully anonymized data for service monitoring, such as total bandwidth usage or number of concurrent connections, to ensure service stability and capacity planning. This data does not contain any personal identifiers and cannot be used to track individual users.
4. Use of Third-Party Services and Data Processing
Acelerun Technologies acts as a data processor, relying on robust third-party infrastructures to deliver its services. Our role is limited to the transmission and intermediation of data for streaming and routing services. We only process necessary connection metadata (e.g., source/destination IP addresses, timestamps, ports) and do not access or inspect the encrypted content (payload).
- Infrastructure Providers (e.g., Google Cloud, Firebase): We utilize infrastructure services like Google Cloud (Compute Engine, Cloud Run) and Firebase for operational purposes. Certain operational and diagnostic logs containing connection metadata may be stored encrypted within these infrastructures. These providers adhere to strict security and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2). Their privacy practices are outlined in the Google Cloud Privacy Policy and the Firebase Privacy Policy.
- Network Services (e.g., Cloudflare): We use services like Cloudflare for content delivery (CDN) and traffic protection (WAF). These services inherently process network metadata to optimize performance and prevent malicious activity. Cloudflare adheres to its Privacy Policy.
- Streaming Processing Infrastructure: We utilize infrastructure from providers such as Hetzner, Digital Ocean, and OVHcloud as intermediaries for content ingestion and delivery. These providers act as mere technical conduits for live content and do not persistently store any of the streamed data. However, at the client's request, we can record live broadcasts and store them in an encrypted format with any file storage provider of the client's choice.
Important Note on Network-Level Data: The fundamental nature of internet protocols (TCP/IP) means that some metadata (like IP packet headers) may be visible to intermediate network providers. This is outside our direct control. We strongly encourage users concerned about this to use privacy-enhancing technologies like VPNs.
5. Payment Processing
To offer paid services, we integrate with third-party payment processors who handle your payment information securely and confidentially.
- Card Payments (Stripe): For credit and debit card payments, we use Stripe. When you make a payment, your card details are sent directly to Stripe's secure servers. We do not store your full card details on our systems. Stripe uses this data to process payments, manage subscriptions, and prevent fraud, in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
- Cryptocurrency Payments (Plisio): We accept payments in cryptocurrencies through Plisio. Transactions are processed using non-personal identification information (such as wallet addresses) to maintain your privacy. Plisio manages the transaction securely according to their Terms of Service.
6. Data Security
Although we do not store personal data, we implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect our infrastructure and the transient data that passes through it from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. We rely on the certified and audited security of our cloud providers to ensure a robust foundation of protection.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
